How to get to Lysos
Lysos is a beautiful, traditional village of Paphos, at the foot of the Paphos Forest, an ideal destination for nature lovers and lovers of authentic Cypriot hospitality. Access is easy and enjoyable – whether you choose to drive or come by bus.
By car From the town of Paphos, Lysos is approximately 35 kilometers away and the journey takes about 45 minutes. The route is simple and very pleasant: Start from Mesogi and continue towards the villages of Tsada, Stroumbi, Giolou and Goudi. Then, turn right towards Peristerona and follow the road to Meladia. From there, the signs will lead you directly to Lysos. All along the way you will enjoy lush green landscapes, Cypriot countryside and small traditional villages – a truly beautiful route!
By bus If you prefer public transport, you can easily reach Lysos with the following lines: 1. Take line 645 from Paphos to Polis Chrysochous. 2. In Polis, change to line 640 which ends at Lysos. The total duration is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and the ticket costs approximately €4.
