Stavros tis Psokas and Lysos Forest Station
The Stavros tis Psokas Forest Station geographically belongs to Lysos, it is located in the Paphos forest, on a lush hillside at the beginning of the Agios Theodoros valley. It is approximately 20 kilometers from the village center and 26 kilometers from the Holy Monastery of Kykkos. This station operates a forest police station and there is a camping area with a capacity of 420 people. This area offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy nature and get to know the local fauna, including the Cyprus wild boar.
The Lysos Forest Station is a branch of the Psokas Station, is located approximately in the center of the community and is an important reference point for the area. This station plays a central role in the protection and management of the local forest, contributing to the development and preservation of the natural heritage of the area.
It is noted that between these two stations there is a nature trail that connects the Stavros tis Psokas Forest Station with Lysos, offering walkers the opportunity to explore the Paphos forest and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
