Nicosia-Lyssos

Take Nicosia-Limassol highway and direct towards Limassol. An hour later you will reach Limassol. Head towards Paphos and after an hour’s drive you will reach Konia roundabout. Direct towards Polis Chrysochous. At a distance of 2 kilometers you will enter Paphos-Mesogi-Poli highway. You will see the villages of Tsada, Stroumbi, Yiolou and Goudi. Take the exit for Peristerona and you will be led to Poli-Steni-Peristerona highway, turn right towards Peristerona. After passing the villages of Peristerona and Meladeia, you will see the beautiful village of Lyssos with its winding alleys and traditional houses emerging. It will take you 2 hours and 40 minutes to reach Lyssos (vid. The route noted with color red on the map).

We can also suggest two more routes leading to picturesque Lyssos. Follow the route noted on the map in color yellow as well as the route noted in sky-blue. Following the first one, you will pass through the villages of Astromeritis, Orkontas, Yerakies. You will also see the Monastery of Kykkos and Stavros tis Psokas. The latter allows you to cut across Troodos, Prodromos, Pedoulas and Kykkos. Both routes last for 3 hours.

Limassol-Lyssos

Starting your journey from polemidia roundabout, head towards Limassol-Paphos highway. In almost fifty minutes, you will have reached reach Konia roundabout. Direct towards Polis Chrysochous. At a distance of 2 kilometers you will enter Paphos-Mesogi-Poli highway. You will see the villages of Tsada, Stroumbi, Yiolou and Goudi. Take the exit for Peristerona after 500 meters and you will be led to Poli-Steni-Peristerona highway, turn right towards Peristerona. After passing the villages of Peristerona and Meladeia, you will see the beautiful village of Lyssos.

Paphos-Lyssos

Take Polis Chrysochous highway and head towards Mesogi. After passing the village of Mesogi, you will see the villages of Tsada, Stroumbi, Yiolou and Goudi. Take the exit for Peristerona  and you will be led to Poli-Steni-Peristerona highway. Turn right towards Peristerona. After passing the villages of Peristerona and Meladeia, you will see the beautiful village of Lyssos. Enjoy the magnificent view overlooking Stavros tis Psokas. This route lasts almost 1 hour and 10 minutes. You will need 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Lysos from Polemidia round about.
